About Orisift
Orisift checks phone numbers, email domains, IP addresses and domains through one POST /v1/lookup endpoint and returns a verdict with its evidence.
What Orisift does
- Single lookup endpoint
- POST /v1/lookup detects whether the input is a phone number, email, IP address or domain and runs the matching checks.
- Sourced results
- Each response returns a verdict, a risk score, the source of each signal and what the check could not establish.
- Policy actions
- Naming a policy on the request adds a recommended action with a pinned policy version and machine-readable reason codes.
- Idempotent retries
- Sending an Idempotency-Key makes a retry return the original result instead of spending credits again.
Who it’s for
Developers who screen phone numbers, email domains, IP addresses or domains at signup through a server-side API. Skip it if you need to confirm that a mailbox exists, check that a phone line is live or identify a carrier, which the site says no plan provides.
What it costs
New accounts get 500 credits once at signup, and anyone can run 3 previews a day without an account. Paid plans are monthly: Starter is £19 for 20,000 credits, Growth is £49 for 85,000 and Professional is £149 for 300,000, with credits rolling over for 90 days. Phone, email and IP checks cost 1 credit each and domain checks cost 2.
