Nothing publishes automatically. A person reads each submission before it appears, which is what keeps the directory worth browsing and stops it filling up with scraped filler.
Ranking is community-driven
Tools are ordered by upvotes from signed-in visitors. Paid placement can move a listing into a featured slot, and featured listings are always labelled as such — the vote count itself is never for sale.
How we handle links
Listings that pass editorial review get an ordinary follow link. Paid placements carry rel="sponsored", because selling follow links violates Google’s guidelines and would devalue every link on this site — including the honest ones. What you buy here is visibility, not link equity.
