About Novastart
Novastart is an infinite canvas whiteboard OS. Open Chrome, ChatGPT, Claude, Word, Excel and your files side by side on one infinite whiteboard, share canvases with your team, and let AI agents work alongside you with their own cursors and keyboards. Free plan; Pro $10/mo; Team $20/mo. Available on Windows, Mac (Intel only) and Linux.
What Novastart does
- Infinite canvas desktop
- Every app opens as a window on one zoomable canvas, so you can zoom out to see all your work and zoom in to use one app.
- Saved workspaces
- Canvases keep every app, window position and tab in place, so you can return to a project where you left it.
- AI agents with their own cursors
- A lead agent splits a task among helper agents that work in visible windows, and you can pause them or correct them mid-run.
- Shared team canvases
- On the Team plan, teammates join a canvas with their own cursors and can click and type in each other's windows.
- Real apps as windows
- Opens web apps such as Gmail, Excel, WhatsApp and Notion signed in as you, plus any site in bundled Chrome, ONLYOFFICE and Linux apps.
Who it’s for
Knowledge workers and small teams who juggle many apps at once and want to watch AI agents work alongside them. People happy with a normal desktop and tabs, or Mac users on Apple Silicon, should skip it.
What it costs
The Free plan is limited to one folder, two canvases and four windows per canvas. Pro costs $10 per month and Team costs $20 per month, both with unlimited canvases, and only Team includes collaboration. AI agents cost $0.02 per use on every plan, paid from credits bought in amounts of $25 or more.
