Where to launch besides Product Hunt
Real launch options besides Product Hunt — TinyLaunch, DevHunt, Microlaunch, Indie Hackers, Listmaro’s weekly human-reviewed path. No fake traffic claims.
Product Hunt is still the loudest launch day in software. It is also a full-contact sport: one calendar day, comment stamina, and a product that survives strangers clicking everything.
You do not always need that. Maybe the build is early. Maybe your buyers do not live on PH. Maybe you already launched there and need a second surface. These are real alternatives — sites that exist, accept products, and fit a different shape of launch. No invented visitor counts. No “#1 Product Hunt killer” pitch.
For the wider submit map (directories + communities, not only launch days), read where to submit your SaaS in 2026.
When to skip Product Hunt (for now)
- You cannot cover comments for a full day
- The product still flakes under load
- You want a quieter indie audience first
- You already used your big PH shot and need ongoing discovery
Skipping PH is not failure. Burning a weak day is.
Launchpads that are not Product Hunt
TinyLaunch
Daily slot for small indie products. Free path, nofollow. Good when you want a dedicated day without PH-scale theater. Submit to TinyLaunch.
DevHunt
Developer-leaning launch board. Use it when builders are the buyer and you will answer technical questions in public. Submit to DevHunt.
Microlaunch
Another indie-scale launchpad. Check current free vs paid inventory on the live page before you lock a date. Microlaunch.
OpenHunts, LaunchIgniter, Fazier
Smaller boards in the same family. Review times and free slots change — plan for waiting, especially on slower queues like OpenHunts.
None of these match Product Hunt’s raw day-one crowd on a good PH day. That is fine. They exist so launch is not a single cliff.
Community launches (different sport)
Indie Hackers
Less “upvote leaderboard,” more “write the story and talk to makers.” A thoughtful post can outperform a dead launchpad day. Indie Hackers.
Treat Reddit, Discord, and niche forums the same way: contribute, then share. Cold dump links get removed.
Listmaro as a weekly human-reviewed path
Listmaro is not a Product Hunt clone. There is no single “hunt day” that defines your whole week. Instead:
- A human reviews the submission
- Approved products can run in the weekly edition
- Votes on the site help order the week
- You keep a permanent profile in /tools
Free path: submit, place the embed badge, collect 5 peer upvotes, then enter the free queue. Paid List Premium / sponsored slots can skip that gate — they still cannot buy organic rank. Details: pricing.
We will not quote fantasy traffic numbers. If you need a guaranteed spike, no honest early directory should sell you one. If you want a reviewed listing and a shot at the Monday drop, that is the product.
Browse this week’s edition, categories, or the indie hub at /indie-saas.
A simple decision tree
What we will not claim
- That any alternative “beats Product Hunt” on traffic
- Guaranteed clicks, signups, or Google rankings from a launch
- That Listmaro replaces PH for everyone
Launch where you can show up. Keep the free rules honest. Then go talk to users.
