Submit the first oneHow to choose travel software
Buy travel software when the buyer is an operator or a traveler adopting a product. Booking products, tools for tour operators, and itinerary products belong here. One property's booking page, a destination blog, and a single departure do not.
Name the buyer before you compare features. An operator needs inventory, departures, and a way to sell many of them. A traveler needs a product that plans or books across options, with a signup, a demo, pricing, or a feature list. A page that only sells one stay is the stay.
What to compare
Ask where the inventory comes from. Contracted supply, a connection to another system, and inventory the operator types in by hand are different products. The page should say which source it uses. A grid of other parties' stays, with no software to adopt, is a marketplace listing of someone else's property. That page is not software you install.
Keep operator software and traveler software apart. Operator software is the system the business runs. Traveler software is something a person signs up for. If the page never offers a way to adopt the software, leave it out of this category.
Tour-operator tools manage many departures. A page for one sailing, one flight, or one package is that one departure, and it stays out. A blog, documentation, and a personal site stay out as well.
Confirm you can export bookings, passenger lists, and itineraries. Compare the inventory source, and whether the buyer is an operator or a traveler, before you compare screens.
